Day with Old Man Evans Part 1: Denver Aquarium

My dad, Cowboy Bronco Billy, came up to spend the weekend with Bri and myself, so we did it up Aquarium style! (because what else do you do on a  beautiful day but go look at fish.) It turned out to be quite the experience with bug eyes, shark tanks, and electronic apes for all.

We still had some great autumn colors in Denver

Sharkey means what Sharkey says

Heading into the belly of a steel beast

Flying Fish!

I would go see a doctor for that buddy

You could control this aquatic robot and swim with the fishes

Dont worry this isn't a NSFW photo I promise

This was a Flash Flood simulator and it got pretty wicked in there

I think he sees me

This was actually a giant computer monitor with the fish screensaver on

Similar to a beer crawl

A room with a view

Nothing more touching than a mother and child's embrace,
 except in this case.

It was a all well and good until someone had to snap

The bottle recuperated in a couple of months,
but the mental scars would take years to heal

Sleeping away....

OR IS HE!

His screeching could be heard for miles, and he knew it.

Feeding time

Look out behind you!

The petting zoo of the ocean

Bri was so excited to touch one of those slime rugs she forgot to take off her sweater, dunking her entire arm into the tank resulting in quite the interesting smell the rest of the day.

Check out the next post for Part 2 of the day with my dad, when we decided to take him on the Coors Tour in Golden,CO and get our free drink on! Hooray Beer!
