We then went down into the city for the annual A Taste of Colorado celebration at Civic Center Park. Vondy and I enjoyed a shaved ice where we got to pour the flavors on ourselves.... yum! We then all shared a Buffalo Burger and a Lamb Burger; both very delicious.
They flew out after the fun, but Scott and I wanted to go back the next day early on to get our own pictures and wander a little more.

First time getting a Giant Turkey Leg.... yummy!
There was a blacksmith as well as a rug weaver, quilters, lace makers and other displays.
One street was for carnival activities. This one looked like fun!
It was a really fun 'birthday' weekend :)
Finally saw this! Great stuff daughter. It was really nice spending time with you and Scott. Love to you both, Dad
